On September 3rd, 2019 PLDT Global and DT One signed an agreement adding global mobile airtime top-up support to PLDT Global’s FreeBee app.
The FreeBee app allows subscribers to make quality international calls to their family’s landline or cellphone in the Philippines. No internet connection or smartphone is required to receive landline or cellphone calls.
The partnership is supported by global mobile top-up network DT One, extending distribution channels for FreeBee and making it easy and convenient to send airtime directly from the app.
The signing ceremony took place in Cebu, Philippines during the Asian Carriers Conference at Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa.
